The disc was first coated with Chinese White water colour and the design traced onto it. Then the frog was cut out using a graver (I use Lindsay Air Graver) and the guilloche put in, using an adapted Sherline Mill.
I formed the doming afterwards as cutting the guilloche on a domed surface is a bit tricky. Using a urethane spring pad as the female-part of the forming die so that the graver cuts didn't get dulled.
