This is a curious result from the spraying: I've fired in both sides of enamel at the same time because I can spray the reverse side of the enamel after I've thoroughly dried the enamel coating on the first side. But I get a border appearing on the first sprayed side.
I'm assuming this is due to some overspray settling onto the underside of the enamel when I spray the second side. It's a strange result and it means both sides are not as useable as each other. It, perhaps, implies the coating should be done for one side at a time, however, this would introduce uneven forces onto the steel during the firing.
