Putting a screw recess into the base section

The head of the screws should sink into the base section so they don't protrude. The screws I'm using have a flat ridge, i.e. no taper. I'm using a milling bit here to cut the flat-bottomed recess into already present holes. The rigidity of the milling and it's flat cutting end ensures the recess is accurately positioned.
