<p>It's a lot easier, and quicker, to bring the workpiece as close to the desired shape, by hand, before it goes onto the mill. This would not be true, however, if I wrote a more intelligent routine that doesn't just circumvent the perimeter at progressively nearer loci regardless of where the cutting is really required! But anyway filing by hand is no problem.</p>
