Watch Case is progressing

Watch Case is progressing

I've been working on making a watch case. It's still a bit rough in places so plenty of room for improvement! At this stage I've not got the movement fit or, as you can see, any hands.

The case is made from three pieces of brass: the top, middle and bottom sections. There is also a movement holder piece of brass inside the case. I've purchased an inexpensive Chinese movement for this initial design prototype. Here's a photo showing how I'm planning to fit it:

I designed the case around the cloisonné frog I did earlier. Although, with regard to fixing the hands, I'm not going to drill a hole in his nose - I just couldn't do that! I'm just using him to showcase the watch. I'll start from scratch with a purpose-made dial when I fit the movement.
