I've been interested in doing some watch dials for a while now. I've been inspired by some of these beautiful and amazing dials shown here. I'd like to explore making the watch case as well, as this will allow me to put some interest into the overall look and feel.

Here's the set of finished pieces that make up the enamel cross. I finished it a couple of months ago but I've not got around to updating this blog until now.

I've not got round to updating the posts on this project for a bit. Here's how the cross looked after all the engraving was finished:

An update on the enamel cross project (part 6 is here). I've finished engraving the top section of the cross, it now looks like this:

I've finished the centre piece of the cross, the engraving aspect anyway. This one took a while!

The enamel cross project is coming along well. I've got the lower two sections finished and cut out the four upper sections. The previous posts on this project are: part 1, part2, part3, part 4 and there's a new post on cutting out the metal sections here.

I'm currently doing a project to make an alter cross, roughly 14 inches tall and 8 inches wide.

I've been testing out how to create a border of crosses. The idea is to have a band of red enamel with small crosses along the band - giving a medieval look. Here's my experiment!
